Box Newel Post

The Georgian Series of box newels are available in two sizes, 5” x 5” x 52” and 5 ½” x 5 ½” x 52” and three species, Red Oak Hard Maple and Birch. The core of each post is 3 ½” x 3 ½” and 4” x 4” respectively. All posts come with a 16 ¼” skirt, matching cap and neck ring.

As an option the posts can have a recessed pocket created on all 4 sides. The pocket is either 1 ¾” x 21” or 2 ¼” x 21”.

Posts are constructed using solid lumber utilizing a lock mitre joint for exceptional strength.
